Webb Auto Group Hosts 4th Annual Ride for the Troops – plus Win a TREK Bike on
Sunday, June 1, 2025

Plainfield, IL — Webb Auto Group is excited to announce the return of its much-anticipated 4th
Annual Ride for the Troops on Sunday, June 1st at 10:00 AM. This family-friendly charity bike
ride, in partnership with TREK Bicycle Store of Naperville and Downers Grove, aims to well
surpass the $10,000 raised last year. Attendees will have an opportunity to enter our 50/50
raffle, and one lucky person will win a TREK bike!

All proceeds will directly benefit military members and their families through the USO of
Illinois. Local Marines will also be present with two Humvees, so come show your support
for the men and women serve for our country! “We’re dedicated to showing love and
support for the brave men and women of our armed forces,” says Tim Gehr, General
Manager at Webb Chevy. “This fun event allows us to express our gratitude for our
employees who serve, as well as to all troops and veterans.”

The ride kicks off at Webb Chevy Plainfield (16140 S. Lincoln Hwy, Plainfield, IL 60586),
featuring two scenic routes:
– A leisurely 10-mile cruise through Downtown Plainfield
– A more challenging 20-mile countryside ride

In addition to the bike ride, there will be food from Windy City Burger, drinks from Garage
Band Brewery, and live entertainment from School of Rock. Activities will be available for
all ages, making it a fun day for everyone, regardless of cycling experience. “Whether you’re
a seasoned rider or just out to enjoy the day, there’s something for everyone” adds Gehr.
